The region is called
Poitou-Charentes and the house is situated in the Charente-Maritime
départment which borders the Gironde estuary and the
Atlantic Ocean and enjoys a very pleasant climate.
The house is easily
accessible from Bordeaux airport, La Rochelle airport,
Angoulême TGV station or airport, or from the A10
Paris-Bordeaux Autoroute.
It is an easy 5-hour drive
from the Channel port of St Malo.
